Very important for me, is music. I currently play timpani and percussion in Symfonieorkest Nijmegen.

During my stays in Italy and Germany, music functioned as a universal language: I played in the percussion group of Il Conservatorio di Trieste and in La Civica Orchestra di Fiati Giuseppe Verdi Citta’ di Trieste, that is, the Wind Orchestra of Trieste. In Bonn, I have played in the Hofgarten Orchester.

Besides music, I very much like hiking, cycling and running; I ran several half marathons (Stevensloop Nijmegen 1h38, Lenteloop Eerbeek 1h43, Egmond 1h50) and a full marathon (Hoorn, 3h55), and the 7heuvelenloop in Nijmegen (15km, 67 minutes).
